Syncing lets you download newly purchased content on your Kobo eReader or Walmart eBooks App. Syncing also checks for the latest software updates to keep your eReader or Walmart eBooks App up to date with the latest features.
Walmart eBooks does not sell print books. If you've purchased an eBook from Walmart eBooks, you'll need to read it on your Kobo eReader or Walmart eBooks app.
- If you purchased an eBook, you'll need to read it on your Kobo eReader or Walmart eBooks App.
- If you purchased an audiobook, you can listen to it on the free Walmart eBooks App for your iOS or Android smartphone or tablet.
Syncing your Kobo eReader
Follow these steps to get your newly purchased book on your Kobo eReader. Before you start, make sure you have access to a Wi Fi connection. Please note that Audiobooks are not playable on eReaders.
- Go to your Home screen.
- Tap the
Sync icon at the top of the screen.
- Tap Sync now.
Notes:
- If you are within range of a known network, your eReader automatically joins that network and will begin syncing.
- If you are not within range of a known network, your eReader will begin the Adding a Network process.
Syncing your Walmart eBooks App for Android
To get newly purchased content on your Walmart eBooks App for Android, follow the steps below.
- Tap the
Walmart eBooks App icon to open the app.
- From the Home screen, tap the
Actions icon.
- Tap Sync.
Syncing your Walmart eBooks App for iOS
To get newly purchased content on your Walmart eBooks App for iOS, follow the steps below.
- Tap the
Walmart eBooks App icon to open the app.
- From the Home screen, tap the
sync icon at the top of the screen.
